I’m currently working on a couple of iBooks for children using Apple’s iBook Author.

It seems pretty easy to use, and you can include all sorts of multimedia such as songs, movies, slideshows and interactive pictures.

I’ve used them in class and the children are instantly engaged – especially when they can play sound effects related to the story.

Another great feature for teachers is the ability to include a multi-choice quiz to gauge comprehension (which the kids really like).

So, hopefully, the story of Spic and Span is ready for publication soon.
